Trademark Ireland – Irellywood, Aldi Beer and Royal Crystal Trademark Applications

Stage two of a Trademark application Ireland (the procedure is different in the UK or EU) is after a Trademark examiner has examined a trademark application and determined that there are no absolute or relative grounds for refusing the application. It is then deemed as ‘accepted’ by the Patents Office, which just means that they have accepted it for publication in the Patents Office Journal, not that the Trademark has been accepted or granted. All the below therefore have passed the first test and will go on to be published in an upcoming Patents Office Journal where anybody will have the right to object in the next 3 months if they have sufficient standing and grounds. Now, can we all take a moment to appreciate the glory of this application which includes ‘Irellywood’ (as in a play on Hollywood). Sweet gentle jebus:
